Authorities are searching for a woman who led Greene County deputies on a high-speed chase northeast of Springfield this morning.
Deputies say the car failed to yield and reached speeds over 100 mph before the driver and passenger got out and started running.
The chase happened mainly around Farm Road 197 and Farm 104, just off of I-44 near Peterbilt around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies say the man, who was a passenger, was arrested. The woman who was driving got away.
Authorities have set up a perimeter in that area, including around I-44. A Highway Patrol helicopter has been helping with the search.
