FRIDAY-

Black Walnut Festival in Stockton. Live music, crafts, entrainment, carnival rides. Ride wristbands available for 20 dollars. 

4th annual HOTO Sertoma Oktoberfest at the Springfield Expo Center is 5:30-9:30 Friday night is family night.  Free beer sampling, brats, and games Admission- 10 dollars.

HBA Remodeling show is 2-6 at the Springfield Expo Center. Home renovation, display, experts for tips and tricks and home building products and trends. $5.00 at the door.

"Mama Mia" at the Springfield Little Theater begins at 7:30. Based on the hit songs from ABBA. The hilarious tale of a daughters search for her father.

Empty Bowls fundraisers 4:30-8 pm. Make a donation at Panera Bread 4100 S. Campbell and receive a handcrafted bowl. Proceeds benefit Ozarks Food Harvest.

SATURDAY

Join Rick Moore at Silver Dollar City for the National Crafts and Cowboy Festival. Rick would love to see you from 8:30- 11 am.

Cash and Summa are headed to Justice Jewelers from 12-2. Special savings on jewelery.

Wilson's Creek National Battlefield as well as other national parks  will be waiving park entry fees on Saturday. It's National Public Lands Day. Go to the park for FREE

Stockton's Black Walnut Festival runs 6:30 to midnight.  Tractor pull, pet parade, free tours, and 130 vendors selling food, crafts and merchandise. Admission is Free. Wristbands for carnival rides are $20 dollars.

Octoberfest celebration is Saturday starting at 11 to 11 pm. Beer sampling, live music eating contests and more. Tickets at the gate 5.00 but you get in free if you are wearing Bavarian lederhosen.

HBA Home Remodeling Show 1-6 at the Expo Center. Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

Inaugural Lucas Oil Speedway USA Pro-Am Motocross begins at 8 pm in Wheatland. Admission is 20 dollars. 10 dollars for 4-12 year olds

Sunset Soiree 5-8 pm at the Finley river Bridge in Ozark. This Fundraiser for the James River bridge includes dining from Gillardi's and the Springfield Brewing Co. Tickets $75-750. Call 417-836-3756

Full Steam Ahead- Garden Railway Expo is at the Library Station from 9 am to- 2pm. Learn about model trains and railways and how to build a garden railway. FREE

Springfield Jazz Festival at the park Central Square is all day and FREE

Springfield Rugby: KC Northland at 2pm. Head to the Rugby field at 7294 W. Farm Road 144. Proceeds benefit a couple of scholarships programs.
