Got to visit Falling Waters Horse Camp for the first time! It’s in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas, Southwest of Marshall. It is an amazing place to visit and ride. Some trails can be a little rough and rocky, so I recommend skid boots for your horses legs. I had mine in the trailer, but didn’t use them and we camp back minus a little hide on his back legs. Nothing serious, but boots would have prevented it. Camp sites have water and electric hookups and run $25 per night plus $5 per stall per night. There is a dump station there as well. Plan for several days! There’s too much cool stuff to see. They don’t call it Falling Waters for nothing. Amazing and truly beautiful. Book way early as this place is WAY popular. It’s a steep climb to get in, no matter which way you go in, but the climb is short and well worth it. I give it four out of four horseshoes!
