A woman who was seriously burned in an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Pleasant Hope last week has died from her injuries.
The family of Samantha Dean says on social media that she died Tuesday morning, a week after suffering third-degree burns, covering 60 percent of her body.
Tracy Livingston posted on Facebook "today I say with a heavy heart (that) my beautiful daughter Samantha Dean/Wood has passed away."
Doctors had placed her in an induced coma after undergoing surgery Friday.
Dean was 28.
Dean and her fiancé have an 8-month-old child.
