Suspect In Savannah Leckie Case Released On Recognizance

Prosecutors in Ozark County say a man, who’s charged with the murder of a 16 year-old girl, has been released on his own recognizance.

Court papers says Robert Peat Jr., was supposed to be tried later this month in Greene County on a change of venue out of Ozark County and is now being ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device.

Peat along with the girl’s mother, Rebecca Ruud are charged with Savannah Leckie’s murder.

Leckie’s remains were found in a rural burn pile.
