From cold to warm and back to cold, get ready for a wild ride with the weather this week in the Ozarks.
The National Weather Service says after freezing temps Monday morning, thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon as a warm front slides through the area.
A few strong to isolated severe thunderstorms are possible, with the biggest risk quarter-size hail.
A strong and fast-moving cold front will then move into southwest Missouri on Tuesday, and out ahead of it, more strong to severe storms with large hail, damaging winds, even an isolated tornado possible.
Forecasters say the best chance for severe weather will be areas along and east of Highway 65.
Then, we'll have a freeze risk Tuesday and Wednesday nights, with temps dropping down to about 23 degrees before you wake up on Wednesday.
