Slick Bridges And Overpasses, But Most Roads In Good Shape

Most of the slick spots on area roadways Thursday morning have been confined to bridges and overpasses.

One person was hurt in a head-on crash on a bridge on Highway M west of Farm Road 123 in Greene County.

Crews responding to the scene say the bridge was slick.

In Springfield, most of the roads are wet as the temperatures have been right around 32 degrees for much of the morning.

MODOT's Traveler Information Map shows highways in southwest Missouri are clear.

The only exception is Highway 60 between Cabool and Willow Springs, which is listed as mostly clear.

Between Willow Springs and Mtn. View, Highway 60 is partly covered with ice.

Roads north of Kansas City are mostly covered with ice, while highways throughout northern Missouri are listed as "covered."
