We have reports the victim, 38-year-old Kenneth R. Clark, of Springfield, was shot in the chest.
Springfield Police Lieutenant Robert Byrne tells KTTS News officers are looking for 3-4 four men who had their faces covered with bandanas and ski masks. The suspects left in a red, four-door car.
One bullet may have struck a nearby mobile home.
Lieutenant Byrne says it appears the group knew each other and that this appears to be a targeted attack. There were other people in the trailer at the time of the shooting who are being questioned by police.
Byrne says witnesses say several shots were fired. Clark was dead by the time paramedics were called to the scene.
