Protesters Gather In Dallas County, Call For More Information In Kinzlea Kilgore's Death

Protesters are gathering in front of the Dallas County Prosecutor’s office this morning, calling for more information in the investigation into 2-year-old Kinzlea Kilgore’s death.

Kinzlea was found dead inside a home in Buffalo this past May. Protesters say not enough is being done in the investigation.

The Greene County prosecutor has confirmed authorities do have a suspect in the case, although he hasn’t been charged.

The man is currently sitting in the Greene County jail on other child abuse charges, which are unrelated to Kinzlea’s death.

Protesters believe the man has something to do with the 2-year-old’s death and are calling for the Dallas County prosecutor to release more information.

People plan to be at the office of Dallas County Prosecuting Attorney Barbara Viets’ Office at 10 a.m. Wednesday with signs.

Viets released a statement Tuesday saying she will not be releasing any new information in the case until the investigation is complete.

She says after that, the evidence will be reviewed and a decision will be made on any potential charges.
