Police Believe Alcohol Played Role In Crash That Killed Two Teens In Branson

Two teenagers from Branson have died in a crash on Highway 376, and police believe that speed, alcohol and no seatbelts all played a role.

Officers say the car ran off the road around 10:00 p.m. Thursday, went airborne, and hit several trees before rolling over.

Both the driver and a front seat passenger were thrown out.

Audrey Russell, who was 18, died at a local hospital, while Kameron Vansandt, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old passenger in the backseat had minor injuries.

Police believe the teens were speeding and alcohol was a factor.

None of the people in the car were wearing seatbelts.
