Missouri State Baseball Legend Ryan Howard Says He's Retiring

He hasn't played in the Major Leagues in two years, but former Missouri State Bears star Ryan Howard has made if official: he's retiring from baseball.

Howard played 13 seasons in the big leagues, all with the Philadelphia Phillies.

He's only the second Bear to have his jersey retired, along with former head coach and athletic director Bill Rowe.

Howard played at then Southwest Missouri State from 1999-2001.
