The Missouri Farm Bureau overwhelmingly endorsed Attorney General Josh Hawley for the United States Senate Friday.
In a statement, the organization said the Republican understands the threat that increased regulation poses for Missouri farmers.
Hawley addressed the Farm Bureau’s members before their vote, where he promised to break apart agencies such as the EPA.
Farm Bureau trustees voted 82-to-4 to endorse Hawley. Bureau President Blake Hurst told the Missourinet that incumbent Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill doesn’t return his phone calls and said the bureau doesn’t have a good relationship with her.
