A woman who was said to be missing in Springfield has been located after making a court appearance Friday.
Savannah Barton was reported missing and police believed she was in danger at after a possible kidnapping in Springfield last weekend.
The Springfield Police Department says Savannah Barton made a court appearance this morning, and at that time, she was taken into custody for outstanding warrants against her.
She’s been booked and released at the Greene County Jail.
Police say Barton is uninjured, and the kidnapping investigation is ongoing.

April 15, 2018--The Springfield Police Department is investigating a report of a possible abduction and missing and endangered person and is asking for the public’s assistance.
Savannah Aurentz/Barton, 24, was last known to be at the Economy Inn at 2545 N. Glenstone. At approximately 9 a.m., it was reported that Aurentz/Barton may have been taken by force by two males and a female.
These three suspects were later located by police at the Flagship Inn, 2209 N. Glenstone, and were arrested for kidnapping. Aurentz/Barton was not located and is believed to be in danger.
