Latest On Gordon-Related Flooding Threat To The Ozarks

The remnants of Tropical Depression Gordon have made their way into the Ozarks. 

The National Weather Service says a flash flood watch is in effect through Saturday night for areas east of Highway 65 and north of I-44. 

Springfield, Ozark and Nixa are not included in the watch, but Marshfield, Bolivar and Ava are. 

The highest rainfall totals of up to five inches is expected to occur in south central Missouri east of Highway 63. 

Areas along Interstate 49 up to Stockton Lake are now included in the watch. 

Springfield is expected to end up with less than an inch of rain through Saturday.
