Horticulture Expert Says To Watch Where You Place Your Valentine's Day Flowers

A Horticulture Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Office in northeast Missouri says to watch out where you put your Valentine’s Day flowers. 

Jennifer Schutter, Horticulture Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Office tells the Missourinet that people need to avoid putting their fresh flowers in direct sunlight or near heaters, vents, and warm appliances.

The National Retail Foundation says Americans bought about $2 billion in flowers for Valentine's Day earlier this week.
