Greene County Sheriff's Office Investigating After Patrol Car Shooting

A deputy in Springfield is okay after his patrol car was shot at. 

The Greene County Sheriff’s office says it happened Sunday around 2 a.m. in the area of National and McClemon.  

An officer went home after a shift and once he was in his house, he heard gunshots.

He went outside and found his patrol car with bullet holes. No one else was hurt and his house was untouched.

If you know anything, the sheriff is asking you to send a private message on Facebook.  Also, if you have surveillance in that area and think you might have caught a vehicle or person walking to please share that.
