Gas prices continue to go up across the country and right here in the Ozarks.
On average, prices are up about 40 cents per gallon over this time last year.
AAA says the national average is $2.91 per gallon, with Missouri's average price at $2.68.
Experts say the switch to a winter-blend gasoline and few drivers on the roads during the fall and winter will help lower the prices.
It's been four years since the national average for gas reached the $3.00 amount.
