Branson Leaders Vote Against TIF Proposal For Indoor Waterpark

The Branson Board of Alderman voted ‘no’ on a TIF proposal to fund an indoor waterpark.

The vote was 5 to 1 against the Branson Adventures project, estimated at $446 million.

Developers proposed the waterpark to be built on the west side of town, covering about 300 acres.

The resort would include an indoor waterpark, lodging, and a white water rafting attraction.

Those for the park said it would help development in the city. Others claim it would take away from existing attractions, hotels, and resorts.
