(KTTS News) — The city of Springfield will soon have more license plate cameras at busy intersections.
The so-called “Flock cameras” don’t capture people’s faces, but they do help Springfield Police gather data from vehicles and track suspects.
Springfield already has 21 of the cameras.
The city will get seven more of them thanks to a nearly $20,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Public Safety.
