(KTTS News) — A driver is in custody after leading law enforcement officers on a chase through two counties.
The driver sped away from an attempted traffic stop Monday in Cedar County and fired shots during the chase.
A Cedar County Sheriff’s deputy returned fire but no one was hit.
Speeds got up to 80 miles an hour before the car crashed in Polk County near Fair Play.
The driver was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
