Just so you won’t be surprised…should you bedriving on Chesterfield Boulevard and Westview Street this week, you may encounter one of Springfield’s finest.  The Springfield Police Department will be conducting a Crosswalk Yield Check. The goal is to make sure both drivers and pedestrians understand the proper usage of crosswalks including yielding to pedestrians. Learn more on the activities right here.
