(KTTS News) — It hit 100 degrees at the airport in Springfield Tuesday.
That’s the first time its hit triple digits since August 25, 2014.

There are more chances for it to happen this week.
The forecast calls for highs in the triple digits every day from now through Tuesday.

There’s a Heat Advisory in effect Wednesday for counties west of Highway 65 and south of Highway 60.
