A K9 was called in overnight to help Springfield Police catch a man after he ran away from a traffic stop.
It happened in the 1500 block of South Roanoke.
Police say the man was armed with a hand gun.
After setting up a perimeter, a K9 was able to find the man nearby, where he was arrested without incident.
