A man is in custody in connection with the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl from Joplin, who was found earlier this week in Wisconsin.
Authorities say the suspect, who’s 19, drove to Joplin in mid-September to pick up Leora Hardee.
The two then drove back to Wisconsin, where they stayed until Hardee was brought to a local police department on Monday.
She’s now back with her family in Joplin.
Charges against the suspect are pending.
