(KTTS News) — Two men have been sentenced for the murder of a woman in Shannon County.
Barbara Lynn, 77, from Birch Tree was found dead in her home after it burned.
She’d been beaten and strangled to death.
Stanley Kenaga got life in prison without parole.
A second suspect, Joseph Proffer, was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Kenaga told Highway Patrol investigators that he and Proffer learned the woman had withdrawn $20,000 dollars from the bank and was keeping it in her home.
