(KTTS News) — A man from Tecumseh is charged with shooting at family members at a home in Ozark County.
Witnesses told deputies that Samuel Deatherage, Jr. was shouting and making threats at the home in Tecumseh before he grabbed a gun and started chasing seven people, including three children.
He fired more than a dozen shots.
One of the shots hit his sister in the head while she was hiding behind a pickup.
She was alert and conscious when deputies arrived.
Deputies say Deatherage was drunk.
His blood alcohol level was more than .19 percent.
