(KTTS News) — A new $2-billion theme park is coming to northeast Oklahoma.
The American Heartland Theme Park and Resort will be built west of Grand Lake on Route 66 near Vinita, Oklahoma.
It is expected to open in stages in 2025 and 2026.
It will include a 125-acre theme park similar in size to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, plus a 1,000 acre development that will include a large scale RV park and campground.
It’s expected to create more than 4,000 new jobs.
