(KTTS News) — A Springfield man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash near Rogersville.
The Highway Patrol says a car went off Route D and overturned early Sunday.
A passenger, a 17-year-old boy, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Another 18-year-old passenger from Rogersville survived the crash.
The driver, 18-year-old Benjamin Sugg of Springfield, was arrested after running from the crash site.
He has now been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
