Taylor Swift and her fans encountered major issues when tickets went on sale for her “Eras” tour here in the United States. Fans were left fuming, Taylor was displeased with the Ticketmaster issues and all of it caught the attention of the White House and Congress where hearings were held looking into ticket & concert issues.
More problems have now popped up for Ticketmaster, this time with Taylor’s tour stops in France. Ticket demand was so high, Ticketmaster had to place a hold on ticket sales for shows in Paris and in Lyon. Ticketmaster in France placed the blame on a third-party vendor, which they said they are working with the clear up all the issues.
So “Swifties” in the US aren’t alone in trying to get tickets to her concerts. Will the issues go beyond France, we will have to wait and see. But there’s one thing not in doubt: the power & popularity of Taylor Swift, a true world-wide music superstar.
