How often do you wash your jeans? I feel like everyone has a different answer to this question. For me, I wash my jeans (and really any article of clothing) after every use.
What do the “jean” experts say?
Levi’s design director Paul O’Neill says he only washes his jeans “every 30 to 50 wears.”
Also Mary Lou Ryan, the co-founder of the clothing brand Bassik, says she only washes her jeans when it is absolutely necessary.
Apparently other people don’t wash their denim at all! They instead place their jeans in the freezer, spray them with vinegar, or leave them in the sun for a “UV wash” to kill bacteria.
