(KTTS News) — Springfield Police are investigating an attempted robbery Friday morning at the Kum & Go store near Kansas and I-44.
Police say a man with a gun demanded cash, but left when the clerk refused to give him any.
Police say the same man may have robbed the Fast and Friendly store at Kansas and Elfindale on Thursday morning.
The same Kum & Go store near Kansas and I-44 was also robbed Thursday morning by a man with a gun.
Police believe a different man is responsible for that holdup.
KY3 says police are comparing descriptions of the suspects in the robberies.
