(KTTS News) — Springfield Police have arrested a woman for shooting her 11-year-old daughter at a local business.
Police say 30-year-old Christina Rodriguez took her daughter to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the chest.
Rodriguez told police she had removed a bullet from the gun but didn’t realize there were more rounds inside.
When she pulled the slide back, the gun went off.
KY3 says she told police the shooting was an accident.
