A man who held a baby hostage in Nixa has been arrested following a standoff.
Police say the man barricaded himself inside the home near Barracuda and Walleye.
Police entered the home and rescued the child, who was then checked by emergency crews at the scene.

Officers responded to a home near Barracuda and Walleye where police say the man barricaded himself in a home.
Authorities say the man also had a newborn child with him during the standoff.
Traffic was limited in the area during the standoff.
