A trial date has been set for a woman charged with causing a car crash then killing a woman with her car in Springfield in 2018.
Elizabeth McKeown’s trial starts June 6 of next year.
Investigators say McKeown rear-ended Barbara Foster in traffic because Foster was “moving too slow” near the intersection of Sunshine and Campbell.
Authorities say McKeown then lured Foster out of her car and then ran her over.
Witnesses stopped McKeown from leaving.
McKeown has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder by reason of mental disease or defect.
