The Highway Patrol is investigating two separate accidents over the weekend involving police officers.
A Strafford police officer was in his patrol car guarding a tow truck when someone rear-ended him, leaving him with moderate injuries.
In a separate accident, a Fair Grove police officer jumped over a median to avoid being hit by a car.
The driver ended up hitting the back of his patrol car.
He was not hurt.
