The Highway Patrol says two children taken from Centerville, Missouri have been found safe but the man who took them is still on the run.
Authorities say Jason Wayne Baker, 43, shot the boys’ mother before he took the boys.

Missouri law enforcement is on the alert after a man shot the mother of two boys and left with them in his vehicle.
Authorities say Carter Baker, 9, and Grant Baker, 7, were last seen with Jason Wayne Baker, 43, in the city of Centerville in Reynolds County.
They were last seen traveling southbound on Highway 21 from Centerville.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says they are looking for two vehicles.
The first is a white Chevrolet truck with Missouri license plate number 0WDV42; the second is a 2005 Chevy Tahoe, cream or ivory colored, with license plate UM2W7S.
