Nixa residents are now able to start leaving one large item to discard along with their normal trash to be picked up once a week.
Republic Services will pick up single large items such as bed frames, mattresses (wrapped in plastic), weed eaters and other gas-powered tools (drained of fuel and oil), dressers, TVs, etc.
Republic Services will not accept
- Tires
- Propane tanks
- Appliances
- Construction projects/fence/carpet/decks/etc.
- Rocks, bricks, concrete
- Hazardous waste
- Brush/limbs/yard waste.
- Bulk liquids
- Vehicles/large vehicle parts.
