The Springfield Police Department is continuing an investigation on an attempted robbery that took place last week.
On June 9th, an attempted robbery happened at a home on South Broadway.
SPD now says they do not believe this is a random incident and there is not a threat to the general public.
Detectives believe the suspect vehicle is a grey Ford Explorer, with tinted windows and a sticker on the back glass on the right side.
This incident is still actively being investigated.
