Springfield Public Schools (SPS) will be dropping 49 teaching jobs next year.
The drop is due to lower student enrollment.
KY3 says no teacher currently employed by the district will lose their job.
35 of those jobs will be at the elementary school level, while the other 14 will be at the middle and high school level.
