A small sinkhole has shut down traffic on I-44 in Springfield.
MoDOT says the sinkhole is under the bridge at the 75.5 mile marker.
That’s near I-44 and the West Bypass.
The westbound left passing lane is closed so crews can work.
MoDOT says the westbound left lane is closed indefinitely.
