Please join the Springfield Fire Department for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fire Station 4 at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 at 2423 N. Delaware.
This event will be livestreamed from the @SGFFire Facebook page.
Those who attend in person will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Fire Station 4 is located on the boundary of the Doling and Robberson neighborhoods.
The old station was demolished March 26 to make way for the rebuilt station, which will be operational in about a year.
