Springfield Bomb squads have found no explosives after responding to a potential bomb in Lamar Friday morning.
A man entered a Casey’s General Store around 7:30 in the morning, claiming he had a bomb in his car, but didn’t make any threats.
Authorities found unusual wiring in the vehicle, and phoned for bomb squad assistance. A robot inspection later cleared the car.
