Missouri State University has broken ground on the new John Goodman Amphitheatre, located in the new Judith Enyeart Reynolds Arts Park.
The amphitheatre will be open-air and will have a permanent stage, as well as tiers for 350 removable seats. It will be located in the plaza near Craig Hall. Buildings and landscape around the plaza will see some planned renovation.
The theatre is named for John Goodman, a major contributor to the Missouri State University Onward Upward campaign.
