The 2020 Greene County personal property tax deadline is fast approaching.

The due date for personal property taxes was extended to February 28, 2021, due to technical problems.

The various offices in the courthouse have been upgrading their computer systems at different rates, which caused the problem.

Real estate tax payments were due at the end of December.

“If you have not received a personal property tax bill for 2020, you need to be proactive and reach out to my office quickly as the due date is February 28th. Late fees will have to be added if paid after February 28th,” said Collector Betts.

You can pay your personal property tax payment either online, by mail, or in person at the Greene County Historic Courthouse located at 940 N. Boonville.
