A man was sent to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a house exploded in a Lebanon, Missouri neighborhood.
The local Fire Chief says the blast happened around 2:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of Cedar Crest Drive.
When emergency crews arrived they found a man lying outside the home.
He was treated at the scene and later airlifted to a Springfield hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
The house was flattened and two next-door homes also suffered damage.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
