Freezing drizzle started to cause crashes in the Springfield area around 10 a.m. Monday.

There have been numerous crashes reported in the Springfield area.

Road conditions are expected to get worse today as freezing drizzle falls across the Ozarks.

The MoDOT Traveler Info map showed roads were partly covered to the south and west of Springfield this morning.
