A man is dead after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Police say he was found near Walnut and Patton in Springfield, where he was taken to the hospital. He later died from his injuries.
Authorities have identified him as Robert Moffett, a 32-year-old from Springfield.
Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810.
