Missouri is switching to vaccination phase 1B today, making high-risk individuals eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
State leaders are suggesting a rollout in community vaccine events. Mercy Hospital says they are setting up hubs for COVID-19 vaccination clinics in cooperation with other local health leaders.
Precautions are in place in case of a bad reaction to the vaccine.
This comes after the state recently received word that they would be receiving around half as many vaccines as they expected under Operation Warp Speed.
