A man and a woman in Wright County are facing felony charges of abuse and neglect after a little girl showed up at a St. Louis hospital 7 pounds lighter than she was two years ago.
The six year old weighed 21 pounds when she arrived at the hospital in August. A prior measurement at child advocacy center show she weighed 28 pounds in 2018.
Court documents show that a family member made multiple phone calls for a “good case worker” to check up on the child.
LaTisha Cantrell and Joey Moore are charged with felony charges of malnourishment and endangerment.
