The Highway Patrol is investigating an officer-involved shooting on Highway B north of Rogersville.
Webster County deputies tried to serve an ex parte order around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, but the man barricaded himself inside a home for hours.
He finally came out and fired several shots at deputies from a semi-automatic weapon.
The deputies fired back, leaving the man in serious condition.
No deputies were hurt.
